Reflexology
Reflexologists always work holistically before paying special attention to problem areas. So a practitioner of this therapy will
include some relaxation techniques and will place particular emphasis upon the liver, circulatory system and the lymph glands.
For circulatory problems and angina (chest pain),
manipulate the heart reflex area on the foot (located in the center of the ball of the left foot.)
You can also use the corresponding points on the hands.
The solar plexus (located below the balls of the
feet in the midline) and adrenal glands (located at approximately the middle of the feet, slightly to the
inside) are the associated reflex areas used for angina. You can also
use the corresponding points on the hands.
To improve general circulation,
manipulate the intestinal and liver reflex areas. Reflex areas for the stomach and the large and small intestines
may be found between the balls and heels of both feet. The liver reflex area is located on the right foot, in roughly the middle one-third of the foot, on the outside. If the pain radiates to the left arm and shoulder,
manipulate the shoulder and arm areas also. You may also use the
corresponding points on the hands.
Press twice per day for five minutes each point of the foot and hand:
11, 13, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 25, 52.
Massage your whole foot once a day for five minutes regularly.
