Alternative
and Complementary Remedies for Arteriosclerosis And Atherosclerosis
Color Therapy
There are no standard protocols for dealing with heart
disease. So the treatment may vary from practitioner to practitioner.
Yellow and violet are the best colors for arteriosclerosis. Another useful color is orange. Use it all over the body and apply locally on the chest area.
Red increases circulation and energy and reduces nervousness. Red is an important color for heart disease because healthy arteries are light red and the heart is dark red. Red should not be used if there is already too much red in the patient (indicated by an overly reddish face, fever, easy excitability or red hair).
For angina pain, magenta supports the heart action, as do potassium and other minerals that energize the heart. Magenta stimulates the heart and adrenal glands and acts as a diuretic to flush excess fluid from the body. It also helps to calm excited emotions.
How To Use:
Apply these colors for twenty minutes for one week. Then skip one week and continue every other week of color therapy.
There are many ways for the color therapist to apply the proper- color light to the patient, including through direct light, gems, jewelry, perfume, clothing and colored glass.
You can meditate on the colors or eat appropriately colored foods.
For example, red foods include radishes, beets, tomatoes, red cabbage, red currants, red plums, watermelon, whole wheat, liver, red wine and grapes. Red metals and chemicals include barium, cadmium,
copper, nitrogen, iron, neon, oxygen, potassium and zinc.
