For:
Emetic, purgative, alterative, diuretic, tonic
Traditionally used for female complaints, bowel and kidney troubles. It increases the flow of urine - useful for dropsy. Also good for asthma,
stomach troubles, and scrofulous conditions of the bladder.
It is an effective remedy for gallstones.
CAUTION: CAUTION SHOULD BE EXERCISED IN USING MILKWEED SINCE IT MAY BE POISONOUS, ESPECIALLY WHEN USED IN LARGE DOSES AND PARTICULARLY IN CHILDREN. DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN NECESSARY.
